Alfred Angelo Recreates Bella's Bridal Gown

Sunday, June 22, 2014 / 1 Comment
Alfred Angelo Bella's Bridal GownAlfred Angelo released a lookalike Wedding Dress today that will retail for just $799. The long solid sleeves, the cut-out back and the diagonal seaming on the front of the dress all seem to be the hallmarks of Bella's stellar gown.

Also reported earlier that Bella has "dream" wedding gown, but there's no word yet on whether that one will also be available.

So fashion aside, how much would Bella and Edward's pretty in-the-woods nuptials cost? Around $38,000 -- which puts them just about the national average of around $26,000. While the wedding was at home, the three miles of Christmas lights leading up to the venue were estimated at over $8,000 by Home Depot.

From the look of the wedding, it seems like they spent most of their budget on flowers probably around $20,000. Add in $1,500 for a live band, $800 for a cake that huge, satin drapes for the chairs ($110), a tent for the reception (around $250) and you're getting pretty close to that $38,000 estimate. Compared to other recent celebrity weddings (Kim K's estimated $10 million bash or the royal wedding, which reportedly cost around $60 million) and suddenly, this doesn't seem that bad at all.

Model Lauren Bush has shared photos from her Western-themed wedding to David Lauren with the new issue of Vogue.

The couple, who wed over Labor Day weekend has released a few of their wedding photos to Vogue magazine and sat down to dish on the details, reports the Daily Mail. Lauren Bush, niece of former President George W. Bush and granddaughter of former President George H.W. Bush, married David Lauren, the youngest son of fashion legend Ralph Lauren in a wedding that felt both intimate and western inspired but also extremely luxurious.

The couple dressed the part of an old Western film, with Lauren donning a gown with long lace sleeves, a high neck, and long veil and wrap around headband and David wearing a three piece suit complete with what looks to be a chain pocket watch. The bride and her entire bridal party wore cowboy boots with Lauren wearing blue socks rather than customary heels and Lauren even arrived to the ceremony in a open horse-drawn buggy.

The dress itself, while traditional with its long sleeves and high neck, had a modern twist, with a cut-out back. The top layer of the dress consistent of antique ivory tulle that was embellished with silk and metallic thread, following a Renaissance-era scroll design that took a team of 100 over 3,000 hours to sew.

The wedding itself incorporate Western elements including a country singer, but also kept other traditions, like a Jewish ceremony. The reception barn contained a fragrant mix of gardenias, roses and lilies. "It was very romantic," an onlooker said at the time. "The couple looked so genuinely happy."

Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon Renew Their Vows in Paris

Celebrity couples love their extravagant annual vow renewals, and Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon are no different. Last Friday, the pair exchanged vows for the fourth time, celebrating with an "intimate ceremony after a romantic dinner at the beautiful Jules Verne restaurant," says the couple's spokesperson.

However intimate the ceremony was, the publicity has been less-than-quiet, with the couple posing for a photo-op and getting gussied up in a mermaid-style white dress for her and a white tux for him.

Mariah Carey wrote in twitter that 'Tonight was an incredible night. I can’t express how amazing it was to renew our vows in Paris at the top of the Eiffel tower.
'Thank you so much to all the fans who came out as always and showed their love and support. I love you!'

Nick Cannon said to her that 'We get married every year; it's our thing. I just have to keep doing it to make sure it's real!'
Nick recently revealed the couple planned to celebrate their children turning one with a special celebration outside of the US. Also he said 'It's up in the air right now but it's probably not going to be in the States. We are going to take it overseas.'

When a party at the Eiffel Tower in Paris, France was suggested, Nick appeared to hint the speculation was right, smiling as he said:

'You're good. You're good.'

Beyonce Knowles Reveals Her Wedding Dress from 2008 Nuptials

Sunday, November 20, 2011 / No Comments
Beyonce Knowles
Though she may have gotten married in 2008, Beyonce has kept her wedding dress tightly under wraps until now. Thanks to the release of a new music video and DVD, we're finally getting a look at the dress Beyonce wore to say "I do" to Jay-Z, reports Us magazine.

The songstress looked stunning in what appears to be a strapless, sweetheart gown made of satin or silk with a voluminous train and asymmetrical ruching. From the preview in the video, there's also a scene of Beyonce jumping into a swimming pool in another white dress that appears to be made of lighter fabric, like organza or chiffon. No word yet from the "Single Ladies" singer on whether these assumptions about her dress are accurate.

See the hair clip and edges of the dress thanks to the trailer, but until now the Carolina Herrera designed gown has been kept tightly under wraps. Thanks to a sneak peak of the film though, we now know what Bella's gorgeous gown looks like.

First things first: There are actually two gowns! Bella has a wedding dream, which features the first dress: A strapless, sweetheart neckline lace gown with a slight A-line and a delicate sash.

The second dress (the one she actually wears for the wedding) has long sleeves with lace at the wrist (hello, royal wedding influence), a sheer, very low back with button details and visible piping down the front of the dress. Bella also wears the crystal hair clip we've seen in previews and a long veil and long train on the gown. We've rounded up a few lookalikes above and below. The gowns above are lookalikes of her first "dream" wedding dress and the ones below are of her actual wedding dress.

And just because the back of Bella's dress was so exquisite, we decided to show off the backs of a few dresses we just love.
